You could be part of our team – we are looking for a student to provide assistance in our IT department for the fall work term.

IT SUPPORT

Our Kitchener facility is the corporate head office for the Unitron Hearing group of companies.  We are responsible for all Research & Development activities for the group, Global Marketing, Audiology Research and Product Validation.  Our International Sales team and Canadian Group Company are also co-located in the Kitchener facility.

As a hands-on member of the IT support team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

•Configuring new desktop systems
•Refurbishing re-assigned computers
•Hardware and software inventory documentation
•Help desk user support and support call documentation
•Computer storage organization
•Other system administration projects

Ideally, you have strong computer hardware knowledge and some similar work experience.  You will likely be enrolled in a computer technology, computer applications, electrical engineering technology or IT support services programs.   You will also need strong people plus excellent organizational and communication skills.  

Rate of pay is $15 per hour.  Work term is September to December 2008.
