Our R&D team is expanding and we currently have an open position for an ITE Process Technician.
ITE PROCESS TECHNICIAN
Our Research & Development team is located at our Kitchener facility and its primary focus is digital product design and development. The market for our products continues to grow both in Canada and internationally, and we are expanding our ITE development team to ensure our customers’ needs continue to be met and exceeded.
As a member of our Research & Development team, you will play a critical role in the successful development of new and innovative ITE products. You will be a participative, hands-on member of the new ITE process development team, assisting in the development of best practice configurations and assembly methodologies. You will also be instrumental in providing on-site training to Unitron Hearing group companies and international customers around the world, providing instruction on both new products and manufacturing techniques. To support these training activities, you will help create instructional materials for use both in-house and at remote locations. This position will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity, continue to develop your ITE product expertise, take ownership and demonstrate leadership of projects, and improve the quality of life for those who depend on our products.
Ideally, you have extensive and comprehensive experience in the ITE customizing process, and have a proven track record in a similar capacity. You will also need strong computer and analytical skills, combined with excellent organizational and communication abilities. Your qualifications will be rounded out with a diploma or degree in Process Design or other related disciplines. Ability and flexibility to travel internationally is a must.
