600 employees around the world are dedicated to creating groundbreaking products using leading edge
technology to create solutions for those that depend on our products. Our R&D team is expanding
and we currently have open positions for Software Developers.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS
Our Kitchener facility is home to our Research & Development team, whose primary
focus is DSP design. The market for our digital products as well as our PC-based automated fitting
software continues to grow both in Canada and internationally. We are expanding our Software Development
team to ensure our customers’ needs continue to be met and exceeded. Several Software Developers
will be hired over the next few months, some on a full-time basis, others on contract with the possibility
of full-time employment in the future.
As a participative, hands-on member of the Software Development team, you will have
the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and applications, either as part of the Fitting Software
team or the Test & Configuration Design team. As part of the Fitting Software team, you will
be designing and developing the software used by audiologists and dispensers when fitting patients with
one of our products. As a member of the Test & Configuration Design team, you will be designing
and developing the software needed to build test systems used in our production facility located in
Kitchener and in our sister companies around the world. In either position, you will be a member
of a product development team working closely with peers from Marketing, Audiology, Manufacturing and
R&D. You will be developing software using Microsoft Visual C ++ and C#. This position
will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your creativity, continue to develop your programming skills,
take ownership and demonstrate leadership of projects, and improve the quality of life for our customers
who depend on our products.
Ideally, you are a graduate of a computer science or engineering program and have
a proven track record in a similar design capacity. You will have strong programming skills and
experience including object-oriented design, programming techniques, and GUI design. Knowledge
of COM and/or ATL is a definite asset.
