Unitron Hearing is a leading designer and manufacturer of hearing aids.  For more than 40 years, Unitron Hearing has been committed to improving the lives of people with hearing loss.  Our Canadian group company’s Technical Support team is expanding and we are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Representative.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will be our customers’ primary contact when they encounter problems or have questions about our products, software or other technical issues.  You will help troubleshoot product issues and help select fitting solutions.  In addition, you will provide product and software training to our customers.  Most of your support will be provided via telephone or email, but you will also have an opportunity to meet customers at trade shows and open houses, as well as actively participate in hands-on customer training.  You will be a critical resource for both our sales team and Customer Service providing them with technical knowledge about our products.

Our ideal candidate has a strong combination of both clinical experience and strong computer skills.  A licensed hearing aid dispenser or audiologist will provide our customers with product and fitting recommendations and advice.  Combined with that, you must demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and using computer applications as you will need good working knowledge of the Windows Operating System.  Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills round out your qualifications.

Success will require you to take ownership for your assigned responsibilities, demonstrate strong technical and clinical skills and ensure the needs of our customers are integral in everything you do.
