Ronald Boman

Ronald Boman has worn hearing aids for about 17 years. He desired hearing aids that would help him hear conversations, especially in noisy or group situations. He also wanted to pick up the telephone and have a conversation, without having to worry about making adjustments to his hearing aids.

Ronald decided to try Indigo™ ITC hearing instruments in both ears. He was immediately impressed with Indigo’s sound quality.

"These are without a doubt, the best hearing aids that I have ever worn," Ronald explains. "They are superior to any hearing aids that I have purchased before, and I have bought four different brands of hearing aids over the past ten years."

"Sounds are crisper and clearer. I can also hear sounds that I haven’t heard in years," he says.

Ronald could hear better in many different listening environments. He could hear everyone speaking during staff meetings, something that was challenging to him with his previous hearing aids. He also enjoyed listening to music and singing during church.

"I used program two for music and singing," he explains. "Then I just switched to program one when the pastor began preaching so I could hear what was being said."

Ronald also enjoyed listening on the telephone more with his Indigo hearing instruments. With his previous hearing aids, he ended up removing them to talk on the telephone or they would whistle. With Indigo’s automatic telephone solution, he was able to keep his hearing aids in his ears and hear conversations more easily. He also found they worked well when listening in the car and when outdoors.

Ronald enjoyed the convenience of the automatic program. He rarely had to adjust his Indigo hearing aids and he found them comfortable to wear all day.
