Raising a child with a hearing loss has its unique joys and challenges. And just as positive encouragement, support and the cultivation of independence is important at home, it also plays a role in your child’s world outside your home. As your child grows up, he or she will have the opportunity to function in more environments, with more individuals who will need to know how to offer effective support.
