In-the-ear (ITE)

ITEs are custom-made to fit securely in your ear. They come in a variety sizes from full shell ITEs, to smaller in-the-canal (ITC) styles, to the tiny completely-in-the-canal (CIC) styles. They are suitable for mild to severe hearing losses.

Full shell (ITE)

Full shells are custom-made to fit securely in your outer ear, ensuring optimum performance and maximum comfort. They are larger in size than the half shell and are suitable for mild to severe hearing losses.

Half shell (ITE)

Half shells are custom-made to fit securely in your outer ear, ensuring optimum performance and maximum comfort. Half shells are smaller than the full shell ITEs and are suitable for mild to severe hearing losses.

Canal (ITC)

Canal hearing instruments are custom-made to fit inside the external ear canal, making them almost unnoticeable. Canal hearing instruments are suitable for mild to moderately severe hearing losses.

Mini canal (ITC)

Mini canal hearing instruments are custom-made to fit almost entirely inside the ear canal, making them difficult to notice. Mini canal hearing instruments are suitable for mild to moderately severe hearing losses.

Completely-in-the-canal (CIC)

The smallest hearing instrument available, the CIC fits inside the ear canal, making it almost invisible. Benefits include cosmetic appeal, more natural sound, improved telephone use and decreased wind noise. CICs are suitable for mild to moderately severe hearing losses.

Micro-completely-in-the-canal (micro CIC)

The Smallest custom hearing aid available.  This tiny ultra comfortable in-the-ear solution  fits deeply inside the ear canal making it hidden from sight.  Benefits include cosmetic appeal, natural sound, hassle free automatic technology and decreased wind noise.  Micro CIC’s are suitable for mild to moderately severe hearing losses.
